About US – Advantage Micro Corporation

Avast Sales And Support Specialists – 520-290-0595

Tucson’s computer repair and service specialists for 40 years.

Many of our clients have been with us for our entire existence, because “We fix … what no one else can!” We only offer the highest reliable components and systems, but we can fix them all! Our owner, J.R. Guthrie, is our lead Failure Analysis Engineer. With 40 years in the company, he has seen and experienced more issues than almost anyone in the industry. He is key to our “we fix … what no one else can!” Most companies say “It works just fine at our office, it’s not the computer. $89 please!” We’ll investigate those environmental issues, and find the real causes. We have the necessary talent to get it right. Using a computer should be easier than not using a computer!

Advantage Micro Corporation is the only avast! Distributor and Platinum Reseller in the USA. Avast Avast! Antivirus ProtectionAntivirus is the #1 used anti-virus product in every country in the world, except for the United States.

That issue has been technical support (or lack of). We have changed that! We are avast! Sales and Support Specialists now for 12 years! Prior to that, we sold Symantec / Norton products for 20 years (too bad they dropped the ball!)

Please call J.R. so you can experience superior technical expertise personally. It’s our job, not a side line!

A friend of mine (Vaughn Croft) just told me that you might be able to fix 2 of my LCD projectors.

I have a View Sonic that shuts down after about 20 minutes and an InFocus that has a darkened area in the lower area of the screen. Someone looked at the InFocus and suggested that it might have a partial temperature burned mirror & that the mirror may need to be replaced.

Do you think you could resolve either of these problems?

      Dear Bill,

We have repaired projectors for TUSD, and most of the time they are repairable. Both issues could be attributed to accumulated dust. We charge a $49 minimum (TUSD price) and that will go against the repair.

      Sincerely,

      J.R. Guthrie

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.

Hello. I was recently referred to your shop by a friend of mine and was wondering if you were hiring at this time? I recently graduated from PCC with a degree in Systems Admin. & Networking and am trying to find an IT-related job. Please email me with details? Thank you for your time.
